Team MAC Update
Team MAC closed out our school-year programs at the Boys and Girls Club of Chester and Chester Upland School of the Arts with sessions focused on two African-American Inventors: Kenneth Dunkley (inventor of 3D holographic glasses) and Garrett Morgan (developer of three-position traffic light and numerous other inventions). These sessions supplemented our focus on one of the 15 developmental assets (https://www.search-institute.org/our-research/development-assets/) our curriculum focuses on, namely enabling our young participants to envision a positive future for themselves.
Team MAC will offer a six-week, school-based summer program for youth ages 8-18 from the Chester Upland School District starting June 21st that will run until July 28th. Sessions will be offered weekly on M-TH from 11am-2pm. For more information, call 610-447-3600.
