Connected Visions Update

Opportunities to develop life skills are an important part of the activities we offer families in our Connected Visions Program. Eleven families from CV and the community participated last month in a 4-session Financial Literacy program. Focusing on topics such as budgeting, saving, and investing, participants learned about the importance of tracking revenue and expenses to ensure they are not overspending. They also were challenged to consider whether their expenditures were necessary or, instead, reflected “emotional” spending. Everyone is looking forward to individual one-on-one sessions to follow.
