With so many great organizations to support, why should others choose to support MACG?
We all have a responsibility to our community as well as to ourselves to be a part of the solution rather than the problem. With so many organizations to support, I encourage individuals to simply support, rather than exhibiting complacency. I chose to support MACG because I identify with their goals, values and mission to both youth and families of Chester.
Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of? Why?
I am most proud of my determination. Everyday there is a choice to be made and it is not always easy. I choose to defy odds that aren't always favorable. I will never quit because I was born to win and I am determined to make a lasting impact because the future depends on me.
What inspires you?
My family is such an inspiration and motivation to me. The love and support they provide fuels me and my passion to make a change. I want to be the support to families and youth that I have received because I believe that has been the difference in my life.
What do you think other people should know about MACG?
Other people should know that they too can Make a Change. Making a change isn't always easy and may mean going against the grain and stepping out of your comfort zone. Our families and youth have the opportunity to grow with us as we foster experiences that increase access to resources that support social, emotional and economic change.
